Removing a piece of Equipment
While there is no way to delete equipment from Equip ID, there is the ability to "decommission" equipment directly from within the mobile app. Rather than permanently deleting equipment, decommissioning equipment will remove it from your mobile app, web app, and reporting BUT will allow you to "recommission" equipment if something is deleted by mistake.
If you'd like to decommission an outdated piece of Equipment from your app, please follow the steps below.
1. Log In to Equip ID Mobile and select your site location.
2. From your Site's equipment list, swipe left on the Equipment name to show the red Decommission button.

3. Select Confirm Decommission.

To recommission a piece of equipment at any point, please contact EquipID Support at support@equipid.com and provide the following information:
Site name
Client name
Equipment description
