How to Perform an Asset Inspection

Are you a Mobile User looking to perform an asset-based inspection on mobile? If you, you've come to the right place!

From the UtilizeCore mobile app, you can perform Inspection Services on one, or many, Assets located at a Site. An inspection can be performed once checked into a trip. If you don't have a trip but would like to perform an inspection, consider leveraging the CIWO or TIWO workflow.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Perform an Asset Inspection Service

1. On the main screen, tap the Trips To Do selection. Press CHECK IN when you are ready to start the work.


 


2. Tap CONFIRM CHECK IN button to check into the Trip.





3. You will see all Service Actions associated to the Trip. Select ASSET INSPECTIONS to begin the inspection.





4. You will see all Assets associate to the Work Order. Begin an inspection by selecting an asset from the list or initiating an NFC or QR Scan.  






5. The Inspection will display the total count of Tasks required to be performed. You can also view other pertinent Asset date including:

  • Attributes
  • Service History
  • Documentation Resources




6. Each inspection is made up of questions. You will be asked to provide answers to the following types of questions:

  • Dropdown
  • Text
  • Photo
  • Star Rating
  • Yes, No , N/A

Perform all the ones which are required and continue with the Inspection.




7. As a final step, provide a Red, Yellow, or Green Status for the Inspection.

NOTE: This step is required. If you mark as Red or Yellow, you may be asked to complete a Deficiency Capture form.





8. Repeat for all associated assets. 

9. Having completed all the required Inspections (Tasks) then you can proceed to finish the Work Order Inspection by tapping on CHECK OUT.
