Are you a Technician looking to perform a repair or inspection on the mobile app? Follow these step by step instructions in order to create an Asset.
On the main screen, tap the Sites section in order to reach the Site List
Search for a specific site (use the filters for criteria search).
The Site will be displayed, tap the drop-down to get the more options.
The following information will be seen:
- Site Details
- Assets
- Work Orders
- Photos
Tap Assets to get the assets database.
All the Assets associated to the Site will be seen. The plus button (top) will be displayed.
The Asset creation screen will be displayed, make sure you fill out the mandatory fields.
Adding a photo is super important so the Asset can be easily identified.
Tap the Type drop-down in order to get some options.
Search for the best type that describes the Asset.
Enter a name and associate a tag to the Asset (is not mandatory but highly recommended).
The smartphone can either use NFC or Camera scan.
Once the tag has been assigned, please confirm.
Once the main tag data has been filled out, please continue.
If Nameplate is required please fill out the information.
Complete all the data fields needed to build a strong asset profile.
Once all the necessary data has been entered, go ahead and create the Asset.
The new Asset will be seen on the database list.
