How To Create A Vendor Invoice From A Purchase Order
This guide provides a step-by-step process for converting a Purchase Order into a Vendor Invoice, making it essential for anyone involved in procurement or finance. The guide simplifies complex tasks, helping users save time and reduce errors in financial documentation.
1. Click on "Operations" on the top center menu, and select "Work Orders" from the sub-menu. Click on the Work Order number to go to the Work Order details panel
2. Click on the Purchase Orders tab and select the Vendor icon. Click on the blue round plus button in the bottom to create/add a new Purchase Order
3. You can either select an existing Purchase Order or create a new Purchase Order. As soon as you select an existing Purchase Order number you can click on the blue button "Save"
4. You will see a small check circle. You can click on it and click on "Review Invoice"
5. This will direct you to the Invoice page. You can review the Line Items and click on the blue button "Continue"
6. On Step 2, you should enter your Invoice number. As soon as you enter your Invoice Number you'll see it in the dropdown. You should click on it and select it.
7. You'll see the Invoice number will be automatically entered under the Custom Invoice Number field. You can click on "Approve" or "Reject" in the bottom right corner
8. After Approving the Vendor Invoice you've successfully converted your Vendor PO to a Vendor Invoice.
