How to Associate an Asset to a Trip on Mobile
Learn the step by step process to associate an Asset to a Trip
As a field technician, when you are assigned a Work Order and start the Work Order Trip, there may be instances where certain assets are not visible. This usually happens because the assets have not yet been assigned to the Work Order Trip.
The steps below explain how to associate site assets with a Work Order Trip. Make sure you have already checked in to the Work Order before proceeding.
- Step 1: "No Assets Associated"
- Step 2: Select All
- Step 3: Assets Association
- Step 4: Trip Assets (showing the Assets)
- Step 5: Asset inspection form
- Step 6: Completing Inspections
Step 1: The screen will show "No Assets Associated", select the Asset icon so you can start adding the Assets required for the inspection.

Step 2: All the Assets assigned to the Site will be displayed, just add the Assets required for the inspection, you have Select All in case you need to add all the Assets available.
Step 3: Here all the Assets were associated, they will show a green border.
Step 4: Get back to the Trip Assets screen and now the required Assets will be displayed as well as their inspection form. Proceed to start the inspections.
Step 5: Example for an Asset inspection form. Complete all the Tasks.
Step 6: Finish the Job by completing all the inspection as well as completing the Work Order.
