How To Add Trips in Bulk

Bulk Actions are powerful efficiency tools that help manage Services at scale. With Bulk Add, you can create up to 5,000 new Trips across selected Work Orders — with just a few clicks.

To Bulk Add Trips

  1. Prepare the Data; Use filtering options to narrow down the list of Work Orders to which you want to add new Trips.

  2. Select Work Orders and Initiate the Action; Initiate the action from the three-dot menu in the list header by choosing the Bulk Add Trips item



    Note: The system will enable you to process up to 5,000 selected Work Orders. Also Closed/Archived and Received Work Orders and Work Orders without Trades and Services will be excluded from this action.

    The system will generate a preview in a full-screen overlay. Each new Trip is based on the most recent Trip from its respective Work Order. The proposed schedule for each new Trip is auto-calculated based on Work Order Priority against the Trip creation date.





  3. Edit Trips (Individually or in Bulk); If needed, you can adjust the following Trip details:

    • Assignee (via assignment dialog)
    • Trades / Services / Tasks
    • Billing Methods
    • Trip Schedules (ETA, ETC, Trip Close Date)

      Additionally, those parameters can be adjusted in bulk via a dedicated 3-dot menu.



      Note: Bulk scheduling keeps changes within the original date range to avoid unintended changes to Work Order expiration. Individual updates can override this as needed.

      You can also Duplicate or Remove Trips from the list.

      Note: Duplicating Trips here increases the overall Trip creation limit to 10,000.

  4. Create or Create & Dispatch Trips; Once ready, choose Create or Create & Dispatch in the upper-right corner of the dialog



    The process will continue as a Background Task.



    Note: Please avoid editing affected Work Orders until the Trips are successfully created.
