How to Add Attachment(s) and/or Work Order Report to Client Invoice

The following article describe the steps to add an attachment on a Work Order but also sending those files to a client on an invoice. 

1.On the Work Order (full view) select Receivables (purpose is adding attachments which will be sent to the client via email invoice).

Select ‘Receivables’.

2. On this example the Client Invoice is already been created, this use case can also apply for brand new invoices (when the User requires to create a new invoice for a complete Work Order).

Click on Edit to access the Client Invoice interface.

3. On the Client Invoice interface, select ’Attachments’.

4. Click on 'Upload local file' to open the upload pop up and search for the specific file to attach.

5. On the upload pop up attach the file required and complete the information.

6. Click on 'Attach Work Order Details'

7. Configure section/information to include in the Work Order Details Report.

8. As seen below on the screenshot the 2 files were attached to the Work Order and they are ready to be sent out to the client via email (invoice email format). 

Here click on Save to continue but at this point the Send action is still required to be performed, let see the steps to send out the Invoice to the client.

9. Click on 'Summary' to show the Client Invoice interface (main section) then click on the arrow icon to open the Email interface.

10. Make sure the email address is correct, review/edit the Subject as well as the body (attachments are uploaded already). 

Click on 'Send' so the client will receive an email showing the invoices as well as the attachments.

11. Below is an example for the invoice email the client receives showing the attachments.
