On Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 UtilizeCore will release a platform-wide update to change the system-generated content in the Description field of every Invoice line-item.
What’s Changing

New Data: The description will include an updated layout and wording.

Consistent Across All Versions: The change applies to all versions and customers.
Metadata Included
Description will be populated with by the following data if present:
- Trip Number
- Time
- Date
- Service
- Task
Metadata Excluded
Description will no longer contain the following data:
- Assignee
- Union / Non-union
- Rate
This new format makes invoice descriptions easier to read, improves consistency for accounting teams, and prepares the platform for upcoming integration features.
Billing Methods Impacted
This change will impact the following billing methods:
- Per Service
- Per Task
- Time & Materials
- Equipment Task Time & Materials
- Scheduled Service Agreement (Assignee will remain)
